We all take leaps of faith.  From our first step as a child to the first time that we fall in love, we take risks.  In a world with so much uncertainty, we can choose to live in fear or faith.  I”ve learned the one thing that I can always rely on is that God’s word is constant and true.  My response is take that leap and just fall in God’s arms.

Take a look at this psalm: “I lift up my eyes to the hills-where does my help come from?  My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.  He will not let your foot slip– he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.  The Lord watches over you– the Lord is your shade at your right hand;  the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm– he will watch over your life;  the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.“(Ps 121:1-8)

God is so good to me.  He has blessed me with an amazing husband and incredible son.   Friends and family have been encouraging me for years to write about the hilarious predicaments that I have “enjoyed,” and the life lessons that I have learned. I see God’s humor in the hum-drum and His hope among the hectic. Dubbed as “ever the dramatic,” I have written some of these stories as a reminder to lighten up, to be more patient, and to take one day at a time. I’m taking a true leap of faith in publishing my writing, starting a speaking ministry and maintaining this website.  My prayer is that I may be an instrument to lead you closer to Christ and a community of believers.

So, dear reader, I invite you to join to drop in and see if any of my blog entries or articles feed your soul. Check the links, too.  If you have time, write to me. I love email.

Peace to you.

Lisa
